🧟♂️ Zombie City – Post-Apocalyptic 2D Tileset & Character Pack for Top-Down Games
Zombie City is a massive 2D tileset and character pack designed for creating rich, atmospheric post-apocalyptic urban environments. Inspired by gritty settings like The Last of Us and The Walking Dead, this pack gives you everything you need to build, populate, and bring to life a ruined city overrun by the undead.
With over 1000 high-resolution isometric tiles, fully animated zombies and a playable survivor character, it’s the ultimate starting point for survival games, zombie shooters, or top-down exploration adventures.
🧱 Tileset Features
Build layered, detailed environments using a huge selection of modular tiles and props:
🧱 1000+ isometric-style tiles, sized 128x256px (PPU: 128)
🧱 Walls, ramps, stairs, windows, doors – everything you need to construct layered, vertical environments
🚧 Detailed urban props – crates, barrels, signs, fences, barricades, vending machines, dumpsters, and more
🚗 Vehicles – several car types to place around the streets or crashed in alleys
🌿 Overgrown nature elements – trees, bushes, grass, vines, and scattered debris to show nature reclaiming the city
🔥 Animated tiles and props – including fire barrels and chests with interactive animations
This tileset supports top-down, isometric perspectives, making it perfect for tactical, survival, or RPG-style games.
🎮 Example Scene Included
The package includes a large, fully built example city scene, constructed entirely with tiles from the pack and ready for exploration:
🚶♂️ Playable survivor character – Move around the scene with prebuilt controls and animations
🧟 5 unique zombies – With basic AI that chases and attacks the player
🔫 Combat demo – Includes gunfire effects, animated blood FX, and a score counter UI
🎨 Setup assets – Includes pre-configured tilesets, character controllers, and animations for quick integration
The scene is primarily designed as a visual and gameplay showcase. While functional, it is not a full game template and may require additional polish for production use.
