Asset description

Highlands as part of the StampIT! Collection consists of 15 high quality textures in stunning 4K resolution. These heightmap textures can be used as brushes with the Unity terrain tools in order to paint features on your Unity terrain. Or you could use these heightmap textures in other assets like Atlas, Gaia, Map Magic 2, Vista, etc.

The asset consists of the heightmaps and the brush presets, the terrain textures are not included.

You can see a preview of the Stamps in the Package Content tab.

MicroVerse Compatibility

This collection of heightmaps is compatible with MicroVerse and contains presets which allow you to conveniently drag the height stamps into MicroVerse directly from the Content Browser.

Stamping

Stamping features on the terrain is a process which is supported by Unity out of the box. Simply put stamping is blending of various textures with each other. This process has been existing for a very long time and has been used in various applications, most notably image processing applications like Photoshop, Krita, Gimp, you name it.

Unity provides a very convenient means to blend those images together with their built-in terrain tools. The Unity terrain tools provide an editor with a brush preview which allows you to adjust a stamp in detail before you apply it.

For an even better experience the free Unity Terrain Tools package which can be installed in addition to the built-in tools via Package Manager is an excellent choice. It extends the terrain tools palette with even more tools which allow you to fine tune your stamped terrain to achieve the look of your personal artistic preference.

World Creator

In case you need complete terrains imported into Unity including textures, then the awesome World Creator is a preferred application. Highly recommended! HIGHLANDS is a collection of everything you need to make a game. Create your own 3D world with a collection of models, customize it with shaders, bring it to life with particle effects, make your scene sound with a collection of 132 sounds created especially for this package.

Terrain Converter - Terrain to Mesh for Unity 6, MicroVerse, Gaia Terrain
By Unknown author
Version 1.11.0
Overview Convert Unity terrains into optimized mesh assets with baked textures, LOD groups, and FBX export. Ideal for the creation of e. g. backdrop environments like mountains. Terrain Converter takes your Unity Terrain and produces a clean, game-ready mesh with blended textures, configurable simplification, and automatic LOD generation. Everything runs inside the editor with GPU-accelerated texture blending and built-in mesh simplification. The result is a standard mesh prefab with materials, ready to drop into your scene or export as FBX for use in other tools. The main intent of the creation of this asset was that I wanted to create backdrop mountains using MicroVerse in order to create the immersion of a vast environment for the player. Upgrade Path Everyone who owns any of these assets will get this asset at a discount: Ultimate StampIT! Collection Genesis for MicroVerse What this is This asset is aiming at creating low poly terrain from Unity terrain. Especially with the MicroVerse workflow you can e. g. have a center terrain and 8 surrounding terrains which act as backdrop mountains by conversion to low poly mesh. Requirements The following is required for this asset: Unity 6.0 or later Unity 6.3+ for MeshLOD simplification (otherwise Fast QEM and QEM are available) Unity FBX export package: com.unity.formats.fbx package Unity terrain shader Linear color space Features Mesh Generation Generate meshes from your terrain heightmap at configurable grid resolutions from 32×32 up to 1024×1024. The converter samples the heightmap directly and produces a clean, UV-mapped mesh with proper normals and tangents. Mesh Simplification Built-in simplification methods to reduce polygon count: Fast QEM (Quadric Error Metrics): Forstmann simplification with boundary and UV seam preservation. Adjustable keep percentage (1–100%) and three quality presets (Low, Medium, High) QEM (Quadric Error Metrics): Garland-Heckbert simplification with boundary and UV seam preservation. Adjustable keep percentage (1–100%) and three quality presets (Low, Medium, High) MeshLOD (Unity 6.3+): Uses Unity's built-in MeshLodUtility to generate LOD levels directly in the mesh index buffer. Optionally extract a specific LOD level as a standalone flat mesh. GPU Texture Blending Terrain layer textures are blended on the GPU using a compute shader. The system reads your terrain's splatmaps and layer settings (tiling, offset, diffuse remap, mask remap, normal scale, metallic, smoothness) and produces ready-to-use textures: Albedo (BaseColor) - blended diffuse with alpha Normal Map - blended and decoded tangent-space normals Mask Map (MOADS) - metallic, occlusion, detail, smoothness packed Supports output resolutions from 512×512 to 8192×8192 with optional supersampling (2×, 4×, 8×). LOD Group Generation Automatically generates a complete LODGroup with configurable level count (2–5), per-level screen transition thresholds, and per-level simplification ratios. Each LOD level gets its own simplified mesh asset. Works with Fast QEM, QEM and MeshLOD simplification. FBX Export One-click export to FBX format via Unity's FBX Exporter package. The exported FBX is automatically configured with correct import settings (normals, tangents, no animation, readable mesh). Scene Placement Place the converted mesh at the same position as the source terrain, or offset it to any side (left, right, front, behind) for easy comparison. Batch Processing Convert a list of terrains individually or combine them all into a single mesh.

Gaia Stamps Pack Vol 08 - Canyon & Gorge

By Unknown author

Version 1.0.3

Dependencies: Gaia required! [Get Gaia] The Canyon & Gorge Stamps Pack contains terrain stamps used by the Gaia stamping system to stamp features to your Unity terrains. The Canyon & Gorge pack is a collection of 15 stamps modeled off of various canyon and gorge type areas around the US. From canyons surrounded by large flat mesas/plateaus in the southwestern US to hilly and mountainous areas with a gorge cut through them in the eastern US, this pack contains stamps perfect for you to stamp low so Gaia's sea level places a river flowing through your canyon/gorge or high so the canyon is an area for your players to hunt and adventure through. This pack is the eight volume of our growing collection of stamps packs for use with Gaia. If you have specific stamp types you are looking for, please visit our forums and post your suggestion for a new pack in the Feedback and Suggestions area of the forum. Pre-made Gaia session files! This pack's Gaia extension includes a foldout which allows you to playback the Gaia session which was created by Gaia when the stamps were tested. The session not only creates a new terrain and stamps it using the exact settings I used when testing the stamp and preparing for my screenshots, it also creates the same spawners and spawns exactly the same as seen in my screenshots! The spawners do require that you have the Gaia sampler assets which are bundled with Gaia to be installed. You can also load the session files into an existing Gaia spawn manager object and select to only run certain parts of the session, for example if you only wanted to stamp the session and then go use your own spawners. Unity Forum Thread | Website Product Page | Documentation | Stamp Pack Quick Start Gaia sampler assets which come with Gaia include samples from the following publishers/packs. We are mainly showcasing these because samples in the screenshots because they already come prepackaged with Gaia. But for control and a much wider variety of models, please consider supporting these publishers by buying their packs/products! Note, only samples from the packs are included with Gaia. Not the complete packs! - Village Exteriors Kit from 3DForge - Real Rocks from MotuProprio - Grasses from Turboscalpeur - Trees from SpeedTree - Textures from GameTextures.com In addition to the Gaia sampler assets, I also used the following assets which are not included: - Sky by Tenkoku from Tanuki Digital - Water by Suimono from Tanuki Digital - Horizon Based Ambient Occlusion camera effect from Michael Jimenez - uNature (formerly Trees Manager System) - tree/grass management from EE Productions

Gaia Stamps Pack Vol 02 - Mountain & Volcano

By Unknown author

Version 1.0.3

Dependencies: Gaia required![Get Gaia] The Mountain and Volcano stamps pack includes terrain stamps that are either volcanoes or mountains that may make perfect volcanoes with some additional stamping to subtract a caldera. The pack includes 10 stamps of mountains and volcanoes which are perfect to stamp as an entire scene or as a stamp randomizer option, or to be blended into an existing terrain with masks . This pack is the second volume of our collection of stamp packs. We have plenty more planned and will be rolling out at least one new pack every month. There may be a bundle option down the road but at this point, each pack will be sold separately. Pre-made Gaia session files! Our pack's Gaia eXtension includes a foldout which allows you to playback the Gaia session which was created by Gaia when the stamps were tested.
